# SUPREME WOMEN&MEN MUNICH AS A BRACKET FOR THE HIGH-END SEGMENT AND THE LUXURY GENRE
# THE WHO IS WHO MEETS IN MUNICH
# NETWORKING & EXCHANGE – AT THE TOP OF THE AGENDA
August 09, 2023 – the Supreme Women&Men Munich, from August 5 – 8, 2023, MTC world of fashion, is the ordering platform at the Munich location and firmly anchored in the calendar of buyers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Northern Italy.
The trade used the four days of the fair to order and view new collections and confirmed that the Supreme Women&Men fairs are without alternative for ni-sche collections of the top and luxury genre and were perceived as a central meeting place.
In Munich, too, retailers were open to new looks, colors and collections in order to set themselves apart even more individually in the future, which was of course very much welcomed by the exhibitors. In addition to existing customer contacts, new business was generated.
Max Paatzsch from the agency of the same name: “We had a lot of traffic on our space. Orders were concentrated and uncomplicated. The focus was clearly on the price/performance ratio, so the price ultimately didn’t matter. This also applies to the large houses that visited us in large numbers – from Apropos, Breuninger or Lodenfrey, for example – right up to the last day. The order fair started well already on Saturday, Sunday and Monday overwhelmed us in terms of frequency and also the last day was excellent for us.”
Some new exhibitors, such as the Berning agency, among others, underlined the importance of Munich as a location:
SUPREME WOMEN&MEN MUNICH – EXHIBITOR STATEMENTS:
Bianca Berning, Berning Agency:
“Here at the location, we once again perceived a special lightness of trade. The mood was relaxed, the retailers are very open, relaxed and accordingly the exchange was very positive.”
Bernd Schürmann, from the agency of the same name:
“We were at Supreme Women&Men Munich for the first time – so far also our first trade fair appearance in Germany. For the brands we were represented with, it was exactly the right decision! It was perfect for customers who don’t write complete collections and design their assortment individually. We were able to meet many customers from southern Germany and Austria in Munich who we haven’t seen for a long time.”
But Supreme Women&Men Munich also took on another role: What was already strongly felt in Düsseldorf continued in Munich: Exchange, exchange, exchange! Retailers, agencies and manufacturers used the platform to network further.
Michael Schulz, Managing Director ACO Modeagentur:
“Supreme Women&Men holds our segment together! Nowhere else do we meet such a concentrated Who’s Who of retailers and colleagues.”
There was a lot of need for conversation and a “together we are stronger” feeling could be felt everywhere. The Supreme Women&Men after-show party on the evening of the trade fair Sunday offered plenty of fertile ground for good conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. On the rooftop of H’ugo’s at Promenadeplatz, the invited guests exchanged ideas and visibly enjoyed finally seeing each other again.
Aline Müller-Schade, managing partner of The Supreme Group:
“Anyone can party, but offering retailers, agencies and manufacturers an opportunity to exchange ideas intensively was more than successful. Numerous buyers found directly after the fair the way to our Event, which was so singular in the density and continued the discussions from the platform. We are pleased to have once again expanded our positioning as the most important platform for the DACH region and the other neighboring countries.”
The next Supreme Women&Men Munich will take place from February 10 – 13, 2024 at MTC world of fashion, Haus 1, Ingolstädter Straße 45/Taunusstraße 45, 80807 Munich.
