Masanori Ito, head chef at “QOMO”, has dedicated himself to the modern Japanese fusion style. The breadth of his skills is revealed in the extensive menu: starting with Wagyu Gyoza, followed by an excellently spicy Aka Miso soup. In the third course classic Nigiri, the sushi in its pure form: tuna, catfish and salmon of the highest quality. From marbled Wagyu beef to lamb chops with sweetish teriyaki sauce and crunchy vegetable garnish – everything is really coordinated here. Even the accompanying wines and – if you like – the Japanese sake. Unusual desserts turn out to be the perfect conclusion: the green tea note is moussig-creamy in consistency and wonderfully tart in flavour. In “QOMO” authentic Japanese dishes meet the best culinary sides of Europe, but the fusions are likely to be of a somewhat greater variety.
